What lives here is no longer fully its own.

The Possessed represents the point where the shadow begins to exert extraordinary influence over the psyche. It is the realm of powerful inner forces, where the soul must continually choose between conscious intention and unconscious reaction. Here, the lesson is not that the soul is lost, but that what is left unattended can quietly begin to take command.

The energy here is dense, claustrophobic, and vibrating with repressed heat. It feels like a dark subterranean forge smelling of sulfur and hot iron, an intricate labyrinth of silken threads, or a storm-tossed sea that refuses to calm. The light is dim and heavy, glowing from hidden embers and reflecting from damp stone walls.
