About the Demon Inside

The Demon Inside: A Study in Asteroids

Did you ever meet someone who seemed completely normal, and then they did something that changed the way you saw them forever? What is a person truly capable of? Who are they beneath the roles they play? What is hidden inside?

Astrology suggests that every birth chart carries its own pattern of archetypes. Beyond the familiar planets lies a vast field of asteroids bearing the names of gods, monsters, heroes, historical figures, literary characters, and timeless ideas. Together, they form a symbolic language of the psyche—a way of exploring the parts of ourselves we rarely acknowledge.

There are parts of ourselves we hide from the world—and parts we hide from ourselves. The Demon Inside is a shadow-work system built upon the asteroids of astrology, mythology, literature, and medieval art. Through 124 carefully selected asteroids and their archetypal expressions, The Demon Inside explores the forces that shape desire, fear, grief, obsession, power, and transformation.

Your own birth chart determines which of these archetypes are active within you and the Shadow Density they create. Through the free Shadow Density calculator, the app, the book, and the 124-card oracle deck, you can explore the system at different depths—from discovering what lives inside you to understanding and working with those archetypes.

This is not a deck about defeating your darkness. It is a deck about finally learning its name.
